First, identify a problem or question you normally wouldn’t try to solve on your own (examples could include remodeling part of your house or trying a new hobby). Instead of going to someone who is an expert in that field, go to an expert in information literacy: the librarian! Sit down with her/him and try to find a solution to your challenge.
