Join a social network and begin communicating with other educators who share similar interests. Use the 3-2-1 rule if you’re not sure how to get started: “like” 3 posts, comment on 2 posts, and then share 1 post.
Digital connectivity can help foster relationships between educators across the country. Gary and Jenna, two storytellers from Evanston, Ill. and Levittown, Pa. are able to work together on projects and learn from each other through technology. Building a community of others who are working toward the same goals and facing the same challenges provides a strong support system. It’s also a great opportunity for educators to connect their students!
