A Message from the Principal, Ben Gaines

We are thrilled to be partnering with Digital Promise and Verizon, enabling us to provide our students with hands on technology and collaboration experience that they would otherwise not have. Here at Rancho Minerva we believe that collaboration is just as important as individual learning. As a result of participating in this project our students have the ability to start documents or presentations with other students and continue the collaboration once they get home. Because many of the students projects reside within their Google drive teachers have the ability to monitor student work and give feedback as they work instead of only on the finished paper. Because the students all have devices we are able to communicate with them through email, and more importantly, they can communicate with us. This opportunity given at the middle school level means better prepared high school students and ultimately more students ready for college and the job market.
