Librarian Rachel Smith is using technology to enhance her students’ skills in finding and using information. Her school has lots of exciting online library resources, and students can access them with ease using their tablets when they’re not physically in the library. Doing research for projects and finding quality sources is much easier for students when they have these tools at their fingertips anytime, anywhere.

“Any opportunity I have to excite kids about research, accessing information, and making reading fun is a success in my book.” — Rachel Smith, Librarian at Carter Middle School in Strawberry Plains, Tenn.
