Put students in situations that require them to be leaders. - Verizon Innovative Learning Schools

Put students in situations that require them to be leaders.

Are you helping all learners select challenges that require them to be leaders?

Try this in your classroom!

For one of the next lessons you teach, find a way to connect it with a service project. Students studying science could participate in a community environmental project; students studying history could help older adults document their family history. Put your students in a situation where they have to interact with adults and community members or mentor younger students.
